With more Filipinos traveling abroad, going overseas for work opportunities, and new enterprises opening on a daily basis, Bank Certificates for issuance of foreign visas and Treasurer-in-Trust-for (TITF) Certificates for corporate registration, respectively, are on the upsurge.

PSBank is making validation of these certificates simpler by enabling this through our website to address this requirement from embassies or consulates and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Concerned entities may access this inquiry facility by following these easy steps:

Validating Bank Certificates with QR Codes:

  1. Using an IOS Device

    1. Using the mobile device’s camera with QR scanner capability or QR Scanner app/software, scan the QR Code and tap the PSBank link.

      Note: For first time use, “Your connection is not private” prompt will appear. Tap the Advanced button. Then, tap Proceed to bcs-psbank.com.ph link.

    2. Input the following information:

      1. Certificate Number - located at the upper portion of the bank certification. Please include the hyphens (-) when encoding the Certificate Number.
      2. Account Balance - total amount of all accounts requested for bank certification. A separate certification will be issued for Peso and Dollar accounts. There is no need to input the currency of the amount.
      3. Captcha or Image Verification Code - a random image code serves as an additional security feature. This should be encoded as shown on the screen.

    3. If valid, “This certificate is VALID” pop-up message will appear. Then, tap OK

      Note: If not valid, “This certificate is INVALID” pop-up message will appear.

    4. The system will generate an image copy of the Bank Certification. Ensure that the information tallied against the Bank Certification presented by the holder.

  2. Using an Android Device

    1. Using the mobile device’s camera with QR scanner capability or QR Scanner app/software, scan the QR Code and tap the PSBank link.

      Note: For first time use, “Your connection is not private” prompt will appear. Tap the Advanced button. Then, tap Proceed to bcs-psbank.com.ph link.

    2. Input the following information:
      1. Certificate Number - located at the upper portion of the bank certification. Please include the hyphens (-) when encoding the Certificate Number.
      2. Account Balance - total amount of all accounts requested for bank certification. A separate certification will be issued for Peso and Dollar accounts. There is no need to input the currency of the amount.

    3. If valid, “This certificate is VALID” pop-up message will appear. Then, tap OK

      Note: If not valid, “This certificate is INVALID” pop-up message will appear.
    4. Download the Bank Certification.

      Note: Download process differs per device model.
      1. Long press “Open” button.
      2. Tap “Download link” or “Open link” or “Copy link” in the new tab.
      3. Tap “Continue” or “Download”.
      4. Tap “Open with PDF” or “Open File”.

    5. The system will generate an image copy of the Bank Certification.

Validating Bank Certificates with no QR Codes:

  1. Click here for Bank Certification Validation.
  2. Input Certificate Name - name of the visa applicant. Disregard the asterisks (*) when encoding the Certificate Name.
  3. Input Certificate Number - located at the upper portion of the bank certification. Please include the hyphens (-) when encoding the Certificate Number.
  4. Input Balance - total amount of all accounts requested for bank certification. A separate certification will be issued for Peso and Dollar accounts. There is no need to input the currency of the amount.
  5. Input Reference Barcode Serial - serves as the digital signature on approved certifications. This field is case-sensitive therefore exact code should be inputted.
  6. Input Image Verification Code - a random image code serves as an additional security feature. This should be encoded as shown on the screen.
  7. Click the Validate button - system will process the copy of the certification. It will prompt a message if you wish to secure a copy of the certification. Click "OK" if yes, the system will generate an image copy of the certification. Click "Cancel" if no.

Note: If you click the "Exit" button, it will return you to PSBank's website.

 

Validating the TITF Certificates:

  1. Click here for TITF Certificate Validation.
  2. Input Certificate Name - corporate name of certificate applicant. Disregard the asterisks (*) when encoding the Certificate Name.
  3. Input 14-digit Certificate Number - located at the upper portion of the bank certification. Please include hyphens (-) when encoding the Certificate Number.
  4. Input Total Peso Balance - total amount of all accounts requested for bank certification. There is no need to input the currency of the amount. TITF Certification is currently offered to Peso accounts at the moment.
  5. Input Reference Barcode Serial - serves as the digital signature on approved certifications. This field is case-sensitive therefore exact code should be inputted.
  6. Input Image Verification Code - a random image code serves as an additional security feature. This should be encoded as shown on the screen.
  7. Click Validate button - the system will process the copy of the certification. It will prompt a message if you wish to secure a copy of the certification. Click "OK" if yes, the system will generate an image copy of the certification. Click "Cancel" if no.

Note: If you click the "Exit" button, it will return you to PSBank's website.


A prerequisite to the use of these online inquiries is a duly accepted and signed waiver of the depositor’s rights under the Secrecy of Bank Deposits Law (RA 1405), as part of your application procedures. Availment then of our inquiry facility is by the fact itself acknowledged by the duly authorized user that this condition has been met.

Depending on the type of deposit account, the following details shall be included in the authenticated bank certification:

  • Savings / Current Accounts
    • Date Opened
    • Account Number / Name
    • Average Daily Balance (ADB) for the month
    • Current Balance as of Bank Certification date
    • Date the Certification was Issued
  • Time Deposit Accounts 
    • Date Opened
    • Account Number / Name
    • Current Balance as of Bank Certification date
    • Date the Certificate was Issued
